Why?

Why?

Why can’t we win over death?
Why do we grow old and lose strength?
Why can’t we take our achievements with us after death?
Why do we have to leave it all behind?

If you can’t take what you own while living,
Why consider making it?
If blooming flowers make you happy,
Then why can’t you see beauty in dry flowers too?

Where do souls go after death?
Do they have another world unknown to the living?
Is the afterlife possible?
After death, can our souls watch others’ lives unfold,
Like a series on TV?

People can be reborn but
Why aren’t they born with the same faces?
Why do they change?
If you know you are leaving this life
But can live in another body,
Would you take that chance?

Why pretend to be okay when you’re not?
Why care for someone so much
More than yourself — why?
Why feel emotions for anyone,
If your actions can hurt them?
If it hurts, then why do we consider it worth feeling?

Trying to live life to the fullest, yet hurting others — why?
Why is darkness a metaphor for sadness?
Why can’t you be happy in the dark too?
Why do you need light to be happy?
Isn’t life a mix of both sadness and joy?
Then why do you want to leave darkness behind?

Why do you always want to be happy?
Why can’t you embrace sadness?
Is sadness really that bad?
Why can’t you find joy even on miserable days?
Be a role model but for whom and why?

If everything is about feelings,
Why do you even consider feeling hurt?
Why not choose to feel happy?
Humans are controlled by emotions;
Everything happens when they feel the urge to act.

Why seek knowledge if you don’t use it?
Why show off if you have nothing to show?
Look around everything is beautiful,
Even in the darkness.

Living is hard but dying is harder.
What if you regret after death,
Knowing you died for nothing.
You can’t come back to life.
