The Clever Bird

Once upon a time, there were two hunters named Jimmy and Jhon. They were best friends. One day they decided to catch an animal or bird to sell at a high rate in the market. They were looking around the big forest. All the animals were afraid of them and running here and there to hide from them. They try very hard to catch, but luck isn’t on their side. They were sad, and on their way back home, they saw a bird sitting on the tree branch. Next to the bird, there were lots of bird eggs too; their eyes were amazed to see that sight in front of them.

John climbed on the tree to catch a bird, but his hand slipped way up to the tree branch and fell down. He screamed, calling for help for his friend Jimmy! When he screamed, the bird on the tree got scared and flew away, but it couldn’t get far in time; Jimmy caught it with a net. They were so happy and thinking about selling it in the market at a high price.

When they return home, it’s already pretty late, and the market is closed. They planned to sell it tomorrow till then they kept in cage and went to sleep. In the morning the bird was chirping; it’s like singing a sweet song. First they enjoy it, but they get annoyed by the sound of the bird. Jimmy angrily stomped his foot on the floor and went to the birdcage. He grabs cage and toss in another room because of that cage lock opened but Jimmy didn’t realize and went to get ready. When Bird saw that the cage lock was unlocked, she got out of the cage. She looked to escape, but every window and door was locked. She was about to give up but found a chimney, which led to the outside. Then she flew out and went to the forest to enjoy her freedom.

Hunters saw that bird was flying away and checked in the room to see if they were mistaken, but it was really that bird they caught yesterday. They were sad because their dream to sell in good money didn’t came true.

Moral: Don’t hold too much expectation before it really happens.
